Montreux is a municipality of the Riviera-Pays-d'Enhaut district in the Vaud canton of Switzerland. The city of Montreux si situated on Lake Geneva. The picturesque area near the city includes beautiful Alpine mountains. The city was known since the Roman times, when it was located at the crossroad of the important trade ways to the Aventicum capital.
